WWDC XIII Event. Tonight 6pm

Thanks guys, I now can't register any more UDIDs so game over. I decided to put it back on and try use it without apps that don't work and it's OK so far.

As for the folks talking about xcode / Design of apps... it's mainly drag and drop but still require to learn underlying code to know what does what.

Tutorials are the best way to resolve that issue.

It's working pretty good for me so far, just the banking apps and battery drain that are the negatives so far, considering its a beta 1.
And I vote for mrbell: man of honour. :D

I read somewhere last night that the icons and some colour elements are temp solutions designed by the marketing team and Ive and his team will be working on it throughout the beta period, for those concerned

I ****ing hope so, it would explain why all the images they have use just a white iPhone as some apps (I'm looking at you Safari, Calendar) are just too overkill on the white flatness.

Oh dear, and this is what happens when Apple let non-developers install beta iOS software.

Jesus H. Christ.

Deep down I'm not surprised, but at the same time shocked at the sheer stupidity/ignorance of actual users.

I mean, it's a new version of iOS, not available OTA, or publicly downloadable yet somehow they have enough brain cells to find a third-party link, install it via iTunes yet can't understand why half their apps no longer work?!

Lost for words, really.

Supposedly there's a different icon for the weather app that's seen on the ios7 page when viewed on a mobile device - just a blue background with real time temperature information

Mr Bell has smashed it :)

few things that have been rattling around my brain.

overall i like it. i like the aesthetic. am i right in thinking its helvetica nueue. it looks like that to me and its one of my favourite fonts. some things look really nice. a contacts page. when youre calling some one. it seems a bit weird the circular buttons to me when you want to unlock. dont know why it just doesnt seem to fit to me. but im slowly growing to it. though some things it now actually feels a bit ... sparse ?

2 things i have noticed how ever. it becomes very noticeable when you use an app which isn't to the same aesthetic as ios7 is. whatsapp for example still has the old keyboard and font. it just sort of detracts from the experience but i know thats not apples fault. 2nd point which actually irks me. normally when i want to call some one most of the time i scroll all the way to the left to use the search function and start tapping in the name and the same for a song. its not there any more ...... why ?

oh and also my plants vs zombies app wont work ;)

Spotlight is now accessed by swiping down from the middle of the home screen.

Is this just a case of adding the UDIDs ? I have a developer account so could add some if required.

I've found some bugs with apps but rather than rant on the feedback page I've emailed the developer(s) to let them know instead.

For example, my Barclays Banking app just refuses to take my password, I think it's something to do with the way the app's security works. But I just dropped them a friendly email to let them know.

Good work. :)
