WWE Legends Of Wrestlemainia

Basically Im just saying why do people feel that this game seems like a dissapointment?

I just said in my post above. Wrestling games should be fast paced and acardy. Thats why the old n64 games were so much fun. I think it was around 2004 the smackdown games started going bad, SD 1 and 2 on the PS1 were both excellent games.

The TNA game is the best wrestling game to come out in years, shame it has 0 features though. I hope in the next TNA game they just pack it full of things to do.

Wrestlefest was my favourite arcade game. Used to go to Redcar every week to play it! I also loved WWF No Mercy on the N64, best thing was you could be bust open, you could actually be harmed by being slammed onto a table/ladder etc and when you took a beating it was realistic in the sense that you would stay down for a conserable amount of time. If they made an up-to-date version with HD graphics I'd snap it up. Was immense with four player ladder matches! They went on for over an hour at times! :D

so did anyone else struggle with this game. I cant seem to get up from a pin attempt even if i have almost full health. So frustrating. Spend the whole match "laying the smackdown" only to be beaten after a couple of punches.

That was my fav old school wrestling game of all time!!!

WWF Pure old school...

I had actually completely forgot about WWF Superstars! The 360 graphics definately look better from the demo I've played over LOWM. I'm still going to wait for reviews before I buy I'm still not sure.

I was massive fan of WWF, lost interest aroun the Stone Cold/Rock era, I was lucky enough to be alive when it was at its peak and had the best storylines and it was not so OTT.

Even went watching it in Birmingham, seeing my idols such as Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, British Bulldog etc.

Never really played a WWF game since the N64

2000 and no mercy on n64 are the greatest wrestling games ever!! hell even the WCW games before them on the 64 were awesome, it was just a down right spot game mechanic. Then they went smackdown button bushing and it was rubbish.

played the demo last night but thought it was crap, only gud bit was the video highlights and whilst the memories are cool am not paying 40quid for something i can look up on youtube.

That sounds realistic to me ;)

Eh? If you're going to label "Warzone" as an era, i'd class that as when SSSA was top of the pile, which was around 98 onwards IIRC. I'm talking about the era which was all about Bret Hart and the Hart Foundation, Shawn Michaels, Yokozuna, Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, Ric Flair, 123 Kid, Diesel, Sid et al. Royle Rumble 91 onwards basically :)

I was on about the game, WWF Warzone. :p

Played this Wrestlemania game tonight on demo, I have to say I don't really like it. I really wanted to but it seems very button-bashy and a bit too child-like.

Shame as I open to buying it. Looks pretty good though. :)

Gave up after just one match. I hate QTE type games and it was just timed button mashing and nothing else from what I could see. Fs all they had to do was use the SvR formula :/

Anyone actually getting this? I caved and preordered it, I can't help but think it was a poor demo and the full thing will be awesome somehow :p

Awesome news that the Royal Rumble is on it. I like the idea of linking it up with SvR2009 aswell so you can put current wrestlers in it.

I'll be picking this up tomorrow.

My copy will be waiting when I get home tonight. I've spent some more time getting my head around the demo, and the controls are actually quite good. Just different from what most people are used to as far as I can gather.

Picked a copy up earlier too. Just wondering if anyone knows how to win the "Test of Strength" modes? I keep being dominated!
