X-Factor Winner?!

I quite like his voice, with the correct song he can be pretty good. Rydian should have won it though, what a great talent.

Still shocked, I have no idea why leon or Same Difference were anywhere near the final, beyond beleif really, he is out of tune almost 50% of the time and he isnt good looking as far as i can tell, certainly not show stopping good looking. Rhydian should have won, he will have a bigger career anyway so it makes no difference.

Disgrace? Hardly.
Sure, Rydian has been the best from the start. But Leon became very good also and I can see why he won.
However regardless of who won tonight , the only person who even has a chance of releasing records 5 years down the line is Rydian.
Still, the X-Factor leaves a nasty taste in my mouth.
The sob stories, the encouraging freaks to humiliate themselves so the public can have a good laugh at them, the made up fighting, simon trying to manipulate the audience and the two most annoying presenters ever (dermot/Fern)...
It has no class and is sad reflection on our society.
Watch the dancing instead. You will see the thinnest person alive in carmella and a show done in the right spirit :)
Mind you, 4 10's for matt? WTF!

Couldn't agree more... It's embarrassing just how many people think it's genuine and pay £1 a time or whatever it is to vote for another pointless non talent to win yet another pointless show.

Seriously, it's getting right up my left nostril how almost every pigging TV program these days involves a premium rate telephone vote number that a huge number of sad saps believe make for good TV rather than it paying for the program costs and lining the producers pockets.

I'm just waiting for it to get to the point the 10 o'clock news has a vote line (minimum charge £1 plus operators fee etc) to decide which news story gets proclaimed "news idol" of the day.... /sigh
Talk about lowest common denominator TV

Went to school with leon, Year above myself, but shared some classes with him (most notably information systems, where there was only 5 people in class).
He's a brilliant lad and has done his hometown of whitburn proud!
I spoke to him while waiting for a friend outside of work a couple of weeks before the program aired, where he lied and said he haddent got through boot camp!
Totally made up for him, and everyone here could call him everything under the sun and **** of his singing, I know who he is and where he comes from :)
