Great Result :)

Fair play, she may not be everybody's cup of tea, but she is going to be a HUGE star, it's about time the UK X Factor came up with a potential world class star :)
 
Cant think of anyone who has actully become "famous" from winning x factor.

All goes down hill after the last show. I just think the public is tired of that type of music tbh.

Can only really think of Will Young and Girls Aloud, will be interesting to see if she can shake off the "talent show" tag and actually carve out a career for herself or whether it'll curse her to obscurity by this time next year.

It was a Girls Aloud established company that lost that much, afaik they record label still made profit,

they cant be doing to bad considering they have more top 10 hits then any other girl band (including spice girls).
 
Grats for her, must say I havent really followed it properly but the times I've seen it shes been really good

Also, people mentioned Girls Aloud havent made much money, how is this, they've been pretty big. They must have some wealth between them surely

The Girls Aloud loosing money isnt strictly true, its actually a company the girls setup themselves which as lost 26k this year - however this is not ALL of their income that goes back into the company.

I actually know that Cheryl has a fair whack in her account as she called up once when her card was declined for a security check :p
 
Yeah I'd imagine Cheryl and Nadine especially have a fairly large bank balance because of other things like Mens mag shoots and stuff like that :p

A woman earning that much, uses a high street bank?... I would have thought private banking would have been the way forward, and having lots of money in a current account is stupid, having it in savings is wise :p

And to think, she banks with Lloyds :p.. I called them the other day to speak to the fraud unit, and the nice lady in bombay told me 9 times that I need the branch, not the fraud team.

I digress..

I really wanted Ray to win, I think Leona is the one trick pony. All she does is warble, and add vibrato to almost every phrase of her songs, and appears to be only able to sing power balads.

As for Leona, pale Mariah immitation tbh. All of her performances start with her singing so quietly you can barely hear her then screeching out some big long note and warbling for about 30 seconds hitting unnescesary high notes just to prove she can do it
