x1900xt on the way - any tips?

my x1900xt is supposed to be comming. i checked my citylink reference number here is what it says:

15:10 Monday, October 2, 2006 On route to delivery branch
03:56 Tuesday, October 3, 2006 Arrived at Delivery Branch
07:08 Tuesday, October 3, 2006 Goods loaded onto a van

what does all that mean?

jammy, im at work, but atleast there is someone at home to sign for it. gonna ring home and put everyon on alert. when card arrives someone can ring me and i can just come home and start tinkering with it, will probably take the rest of the week off work to play around with it.

No idea.

I may be way, way off the mark here, but id hazzard a guess that on Monday 2nd your items were shipped to your Local CityLink Branch, then at around 5 to 4 on the Morning of Tuesday 3rd, they arrived at your local CityLink Branch, then at around 10 past 7 in the morning (of the 3rd Tuesday) they were then loaded onto a CityLink Van which will then deliver them to you, but all thats just a guess, and im probably totally wrong as said as i can't understand any of that either. :p

lol and no further updates means its fallen off the back of the van and been bounced around, probably handed to the op by now, and its not booting.

but not only is the card not booting its also taken out his system, which could have consisted of a q-tec psu, which in turn has taken out his entire neighbourhood.

Goes to check www.bbc.co.uk/news for explosions around the coventry area lol :D

yep bored at work.

when ya get it, install it, and then head to the overdrive section, unlock it and put the sliders fully up. :D

Those CityLink times / dates are identical to mine - am also waiting on an x1900xt :D

Shame no one's at home - so i've made sure i know where the depot is and can get a lift to it after work to pick the ruddy parcel up - i ain't waiting any longer than i have to!

I had to give citylink 24 hour notice before picking my xt up at their depot, I thought this applied to everyone?

Yup, and mine. And mine has just arrived!

Any vacancies at your work Cyber-Mav? Looks like an easy-going sort of job.

easy job being a systems engineer when everything is running smoothly, but when the crap hits the fan, it gets really hectic. there are some other jobs going around, you can check on www.csc.com

nop never had to give notice i just turned up with my referenc enumber and they handed me the parcel. didn;t even ask for any details which i found shocking. this was for an amplifier which was sent to me nearly a year ago.

Thanks. Unfortunately I can only program my video recorder!

Stuck at work now, but it's out of the box and it's big, and heavy, and smells NEW!

mine has arrived too, will post up loads of pics like i did with my 7900gs, one thing for sure the box is really heavy compared to the 7900gs and the 7600gt i had.
