Does anyone know if this would work with my asus A8V rev. 1.02?

Yes it will work. Might be best to update to the latest BIOS just in case.

Gibbo thats evil. You had it on special for 46 quid then last day of T.W.O you lowered it to 43 quid and muggins here bought it thinking that was lowest you would be selling it for so i bought it when it was 43.99. Now its below £40. DAMN YOU! I want my £4 difference back.

Grr..

HI there

Well considering AMD stopped making these chips sometime ago, we have recently been influxed with distributors across Europe literally giving them away and as such we just keeping taking them and lowering our prices.

Its amazing how a product thats not been made for such a long time still keeps appearing. Either AMD are still secretly making them or people have been finding stocks they never knew they had.

Either way I preferre to just keep passing the lower prices on and keep the stock moving nice and fast. :)

I read on AMD's site today on an FAQ that they will keep making 939 products as long as there is consumer demand for them.

Its a shame they aren't actively developing new products on the platform..... :(

Anything between 2.6 to 2.9Ghz

Do a search there are stacks of recent threads on this Headrat m8. Lots of them have a complete list of settings and screenshots.

Regards

Have you checked the week/year code on the front of them, saw someone that had one from week 12 07, I thought they had stopped making all S939 in 2006 sometime.
