I guess for you it would be only useful for benching, crossing the threshold of bankruptcy ( as you just upgraded to haswell 'refresh' )and seeing how patient is your missus :D
I wouldn't risk, tbh.

Honestly, I haven't seen so many nice looking motherboards for quite some time.
This MSI looks even better than Z87 Classy.

I predict one over anxious geeks head, will pop come Thursday night and just leak like crazy.

If Asus wants to stay no1 it best leak like crazy otherwise people are going to think they got nothing for next friday :)
 
I think they are playing it very well actually. Every thread on OCN with a leak for a new x99 board has multiple people asking about the Asus boards in it :D

eventually but not any time soon, i wouldnt think X99 will be alittle faster and have dd4 memory, but x79 has been out awhile and has virtually all the bugs sorted out :), hence why im not moving anytime soon, some damn fine looking mobo's tho i want to see the rampage! damn it lol
 
I'm waiting to see the asus, got close to buying a 4930k & rampage board but want to see what x99 has to offer price difference wise to performance gains/losses.
