Xbox 360 Lian Li case - installed with pics !

If you've nothing nice to say, there's the option of saying nothing at all. For the life of me I will never understand how some folk can be so vociferous in their criticism of something which doesn't affect them.

I must be really really jealous because I don't like it either. Far to big and not pleasant on the eye. if you are worried about the console overheating then you would be better waiting a few weeks and spending your money on a jasper. Good post though on how you built the system, and as long as you are happy with it then thats all that matters.

It's human nature, people will always post their opinion.
 
It would be a pretty dull forum if anyone only said nice things about everything posted wouldn't it?

When you post something on a public forum you have to expect opinions good and bad, that's the nature of 'tinternet :)

FWIW despite my comments about not liking the thing it is nice to see one actually assembled and thanks to the OP for his post.

Unfortunatley there will always be people who come across as 'nasty' whether intentionally or unintentionally.

Apologies if you've already mentioned this, but with the Xbox just idling or playing game from the HDD (i.e. an XBLA, demo or installed 360 game in the NXE) - is the noise reduced in comparison to the normal stock fans/casing?

Btw nice work on the thread, might not be everyone's cup of tea, but you didn't have to go to all that effort of posting.
 
Looks OK to me. Dunno why so many people say it is "ugly" the asthetics are probably better than most Tower PC cases that are sold.

Is it much quieter, is the main question I have. (Which would be the only motivation I would ever have to do such a mod).

The OP clearly asked 'Whether its worth shelling out 85 notes for is for you to decide.'
