Photo mode does reduce jaggies, but if the thread is for photo shots then fine - I already said that. I made a mistake - I thought it was a general screenshot thread. If you want to read the whole thread I linked to at Bizarre you'll see lots of people have complained of jaggies including on HDTVs - it seems to be an issue with some hardware (due to upscaling 600p?).
Davey, I am not trolling - I did not realise we had to only post positive comments about the 360 and all of its games. Nor did I realise that nobody was allowed to comment on the 360 unless they actually owned one. Some of the comments I've read have been totally over the top and hysterical - anyone would think I'd slagged off someone's mother or girlfriend rather than a video game.
Yet again I wouldn't feel the need to post in the thread or indeed this forum but I come back to find loads of rolleyes and silly insults (aren't they against forum rules incidentally).
By the way, I hope I won't be suspended for responding here. I will not post again in this thread.

Upping the res doesnt get rid of jaggies, it just makes them smaller. So i imagine those screens you posted were just from a normal tv with no special hd cables or anything. Very similar to how youd run your PS2 from your normal tv with no special cables.
So in conclusion. The jaggies looking the same is a fairly mute point. They will of course look the same when using the same output and screen.
Although, i did think that the 360 had some AA...? why isnt that kicking in there? or does it only kick in for photo mode?

There is a thread on Bizarre's forums complaining of jaggies here with lots of screenshots on the second page. For example:-

Thought people might be interested to see some camera snaps of PGR on my non HDTV for reference and comparison.
It's a 32" Toshiba picture frame TV, running at PAL 60 through an advanced SCART cable.

I'm loving PGR3 and photo mode is excellent, there's a guy called Blur posting some really cracking photos on the bizarre forums that are superb, check them out. I just hope they can get the actual ingame image quality to look like that in future releases.

No offence mate but those images look horrid no idea how you can play the game like that, if thats HD i hate to think what SD looks like on your projector!

I do have an Xbox 360 i do have PGR3 and i happen to love it, the games looks fantastic on my Panasonic 42" Plasma thanks very much, i was just stating that on that projector compaired to how it looks on my Plasma its horrid, end of story.
I was just stating his projector isn't up to much if thats the quality, i at no point said anything bad about the 360, as a matter of fact i'm just about to finish pgr3 offline mode all in Gold so yea i must hate it.

I wish there was a screen grabber of sorts that could take direct screenshots and dump them to the hard drive or an external usb stick. Gonna have a pain in the neck soon when I begin writing game reviews for the bugger.
It still looks decent on the projector it's just that when you're playing on a 9' screen the flaws become more noticable. the in-game jaggies aren't as noticable as the garage ones purely because you don't have time to analyse the graphics when your powersliding round a corner at 130mph.
My Projector can produce stunning images in photo mode as well as in game, the first 2 images below are photo mode, the second 2 are from a replay in chase view which is exactly the same as what you see in game from chase view. Keeps me happy
