WTF are you talking about?

I do have an Xbox 360 i do have PGR3 and i happen to love it, the games looks fantastic on my Panasonic 42" Plasma thanks very much, i was just stating that on that projector compaired to how it looks on my Plasma its horrid, end of story.

I was just stating his projector isn't up to much if thats the quality, i at no point said anything bad about the 360, as a matter of fact i'm just about to finish pgr3 offline mode all in Gold so yea i must hate it.

Thanks for the earfull not needed really, read things before you post and this board will be a much better place!
I do read but I am getting fed up reading about people moaning about this and that and that looks jaggy etc et . And looking at the other pics he has posted I'd not complain to have that projector. My point is and still is would people stop moaning and just post the nice pics, please!!!!!!

Thought people might be interested to see some camera snaps of PGR on my non HDTV for reference and comparison.

It's a 32" Toshiba picture frame TV, running at PAL 60 through an advanced SCART cable.

One garage, in game and photo pic...

Tbh I don't think these screenies do it justice but there you go.

I have a (32ZP48) .. Does yours have component?

I have it running on component in 480P (with HD mode on on the cable) ;)

Looks stunning.

Here are mine, done with a shakey hand and 2megpixel camera :?
All are in game as it were, as you can see the text scrolling across the bottom

I have a 32ZP38; it does have component (Y, Pb/Cb, Pr/Cr) but I've searched the manual and I can't find any mention of 480p.

You've got my attention now though, what would I need to get/do to try and see if it does 480p. Btw, I only have the basic lead that came with Core and a advanced SCART lead and presume I'd need the ultra rare Component HD AV cable?

Mmm is it that rare ? I dont know as i got it with mine.

if it has component inputs it should do 480P ?

I even had my switch on TV and thought it looked good until i selected HD lol.

EDIT

I think the only difference between the models are the black bit around the screen and i have a 5.1 Decoder.

Hmm, mine comes with 5.1 and I just found a section in the manual (very small) thats says "If you are using component video and you have a progressive 525P (progressive) input (NTSC) on EXT4 .. ".

This makes me think it'll work; begger it, I'm off into town NOW... tell you later if it works and if it does I'll buy you a pint or two!

Tired? lol.

The difference between 30fps and 60fps is night and day, chalk and cheese. If you can't notice it then you need to play some other games to see the difference. Try PGR1 and PGR2 on the Xbox, the former is 60fps and the latter is 30fps.

A competent game company like Namco will not release a game unless it is 60fps, period. They tone down the graphics as necessary to achieve the framerate. Clearly with PGR3, detail was paramount and smoothness/speed was secondary. Probably because they know a) smoothness/speed doesn't matter for screenshots and b) people like yourself are easily pleased.
Are you forgetting this game has motion blur?

I've played it and it's certainly not laggy or choppy, it is perfectly smooth.
