I think to be fair I am around middle of the current pack, and if I played to my potential in all the league games, I'd be sitting just outside the top 4. I am suprised Rav made it so high with his Bison, and in all honesty (he will prob agree) his Bison isn't that great, he just keep things very simple ie. mash HK lol. Art sitting above me by 2 points with random doesn't count lol, because I beat Nitro and he lost to him therefore we should both be tied on 37 points each. Just so we all know ;)

We need strategies for chars like Abel who we hardly play against. It's ok for you though, I mean how many Ryu's have you fought online? Exactly!

Bison is an incredibly simple character, and he chose Bison after seeing who everyone else had picked. He counter picked so he wouldn't have any bad match ups :P

Only Balrog and Zangief are simpler than Bison imo, so those 3 can be learned the quickest out of all the characters.

:eek: I think you are right aswel, he was the last one to declare his char. Next league he is declaring his char first or hes disqualified, he ain't getting away with that one twice lol.
 
He told me that's what he was doing, so I know I'm right :p

Blind picks are the only fair way, but my tournament will be run to the evo standard, with character changing allowed between games.

lol fair play to him, it's one thing choosing the char, but he's had to grind out the results too. I so stupidly threw away a 2 game lead, still don't know how!

Evo rules, so correct me if I'm wrong but the loser can switch chars but the winner has to stick?

I chose Bison because i saw who everyone was playing, and thought it could do with some diversity.

It wasn't a counter pick, i didn't even know bison had favorable matchups against the shotos. He was just a character i've never played, and thought it would a nice challenge to see how well i could do.

My sim would have owned all the shotos, and i'd be sitting at the top.
The few mirrors i've had with omh, i've won them all.

I prob won't make top 4 though, Distorted is really tough, but i'll do my best.

I won't play around like i did with Adz, i.e give him false hope of victory then turn on the beatdown juice and comeback in style.

We had Art watching, so i wanted to make it exciting for him to watch!

I can't remember what i told you to be honest, but it might have been along the lines of "i'll pick anyone and still beat these fools"

Your reply was probably "Yeah, you're so godlike, you might as well pick hakan, use Kinect and do all the motions and still win"

And i was like "i don't wanna take the mick, is losing to a 3 day old Bison not enough"

You said "it's true, i want my tournament to run well, so dont beat them down too much, i don't want them quitting the game and playing tekken"

and i was like "you're right, i'll just win by OBV, just use my HK"

Then Mike Ross called and was like "Yo, your bison is ass, i want you to play Cody instead and use the boot!"

and i was like "cool mike, next time, i got this!"

Then Sako messaged me and said "i heard you're using bison now, i still need you to show some Cammy combos. ps i'm sorry about people calling it the sako combo, i'll give you props next time"

and i was like "no probs, did you get your godsgarden invite yet? i don't know if i'll be able to make it"

what are the specifics of the evo rules? is it still first to 5, but whoever loses can change characters and ultra? winner cant change at all? say u lose two matches, can u change characters twice?

Kreeee is talking about Evo 'rules' for the tournament that he has planned for once S3 ends. It won't be a league, and will most likely be double elimination, best of 3 games (first to 2).
If the grand finals was a best of 5, then yes, you can change characters every time you lose a game.

We know your Sims better, i can't even do half the stuff you do, but i've come out on top when we've done mirrors, and Art gave you a close game in the league when he got Sim, and he doesn't even play him.

Just makes me think you're not that comfortable with the matchup.

For me, the Sim v Sim isn't down to player skill, i've lost to players who weren't as good, it's just the nature of the matchup.

I've only played two Sims who i thought were genuinely better than me, it's you and Emperor Cow, and yet i lose about 70% of mirrors.
 
You are right I am not comfortable with the matchup, I don't play any good sims on a regular basis at all. Emperor Cow is the best dhalsim I have played along with Yogaflame24. When I play dhalsims I don't feel in control of the match and it's a very odd fight, I would rather fight a dhalsim with Ken or Makoto than my dhalsim :S
 
It really should be a max range pokes game, but once someone starts teleporting, the game just goes out of the window.

I find that teleporting last tends to give you the advantage.
