Exactly. As soon as the first person has finished all their games, I can (and will) start enforcing some deadlines for the rest of us. Almost every evening I sign on their are at least 5-6 regulars online, sometimes even upto 8-9 so there's no excuse for people getting left way behind.

6 sets is the deadline, by this evening 10pm. :)
 
You are always set to offline, no one even knows you are online! Did you get chief_snakes request? I will try go his house today around 4-5pm, can you play then? Just out atm but I'll be home by 4 so I'll post back then. I am not looking to kick anyone out, esp you I think you have a good chance of winning it but we need to be looking to wrap this up soon.

I think I know how to play Ravs Bison, he abuses the standing HK so you just have to be patient and not jump in. I have beat his Bison the last few times we have played but I wouldn't be suprised if I lose 3-0 in the league games :p

Nitro1337 has been online for awhile now playing SSF4, has anyone been playing league games with him???
 
What a tense set of games vs Rav, I won the first two games 2-0 2-0 and then seemed to bottle it =/ lol. It went down to the last game, last round, and the last bit of health, and the thing I can't take is I pressed THROW, I pressed it, yet he throws me to get the win. Damn you Rav. :p

It's gonna take awhile to recover from that loss, it was in the bag, 2-0 2-0 and then losing the next 3! :mad::mad: pure rage! lol

I know elrasho has been making efforts to play, it seems I can't connect to him or eunit Rob, so if its ok guys I will try play you from my mates house tomorrow! Accept request from Chief_Snake!

as ive finished all my matches, im training my ken and a new character, wondering which other characters have very good attack i prefer attacking more, i love kens pokes and that kara throw, hes got such awesome recovery as well i can spammmmm shoryukens with less risk whereas akuma is a pratt

do ne of u guys use pad by the way? i have that really nice arcade stick with ken and ryu on the front and the coloured buttons but i mainly use pad, im gonna make the full transition hopefully soon, inputs are sooo easy on stick but i love my pad

Don't know how you do it with that d-pad lol. I originally got SF4 on the ps3 and was using the madcatz pad for months. I tried a stick but couldn't use it at all having never used one before! So I stuck with the pad but with it being madcatz, it kept breaking so I had to keep sending it back to them for repairs. I got sick of it in the end so forced myself to try using a stick once more (this time with an octagonal gate) and after about 3-4 wks I got use to it. Been on a stick ever since! :) I have tried playing on a 360 pad and couldn't do it very well, I found the d-pad too small and cr@p tbh.
 
I'd say 3-4 weeks to actually be able to play reasonably with it, my game has never really relied on technical stuff like plinking or link combos. I'm more mix up and try out think the other person, rather then any pure skill. It works though as sometimes I know my opponent is better then me in terms of pulling of combos but I can still beat them over and over again. :p

Originally there were afew knockout tournys, which were good, but they finished a lot quicker. Plus once you are out, that's it. I can't remember who came up with the idea of running a league, but it worked ok for those of us who would be playing regularly anyway. That was until less and less people on these forums were playing the game, so I kickstarted this one by inviting afew people from my friends list who I may have played at some point through ranked mode. Suddenly we have 5-6 new members on here, all of who are pretty good at the game, so it seems there may be interest in quite afew more. The next one will be after Kreeeees tourny which he had planned this Jan I think, so maybe end of Jan early Feb time?

That wouldn't happen offline in training mode though would it? I've experienced slowdowns during ultras occasionally offline.
 
Good games today guys! I think I jumped into about 3 quite crowded sessions throughout the day and each time broke someones winning streak. Sometimes even get afew wins in a row myself against tough opposition! I may be slightly improving! I missed my cr.mk>ex.fireball>fadc>ultra more then once today, still haven't nailed that yet.

Art, all that sparring you use to do with me on the PC sure paid off, you are actually quite good with everyone now. :p Can't believe you switch to T.Hawk, Balrog, Cammy, Ryu etc and still give solid games against the crowds you were in with tonight, and in some cases are on a 7-8 win streak before I come in and ruin the party. ;) Very nice though. And OMH's Sim must be taking something, I've never seen such an attacking Dhalsim lol, that round vs Hyv (Chun) was just savage. :D
