Xbox Controller under Windows Vista

Yep, fully supported. Plugged my 360 controller into Vista for TDU and it worked fine. :)

Literally the only way to play that game, absolutely love it with the 360 controller.

Other games that make excellenet use of the 360 controller:
Medal Of Honour: Airborne
Tom Clancy Vegas 2
GRID
Assasins Creed
Fallout 3
GTA IV

Edit: Can also confirm that I don't have rumble in TDU. :(

would you mind listing your steps exactly please. ie. which software you installed, which update etc.

Sure.

Installed software off official CD that came with the gamepad
Connected Gamepad
Pressed middle button (the one with the light on with 1/2/3/4 outside of it)
This brings up a little XBox controller menu where you can click on the down arrow and select check for updates.
Did this it installed the v1.1 update - restarted the PC after this just to make sure everything was okay.
Installed TDU, Gears of War and a couple of others and tested - it had full rumble support.

for the ultimate addition to the xbox pad on pc, download a program called Xpadder. It enables you to assign keyboard/mouse/KBmacros to a button on the xbox controller. eg I have RB assigned to mouse button 4 which is my push to talk for TS!

The Xbox360_64Eng.exe or The Xbox360_32Eng.exe is the v1.1 update for people who don't know who are just using the 360pad by plunging it in including wireless with out using the CD thus will not get the menu or the update through the menu.

Get it from MS download.
