Xbox Latency

Well with my connection I'm getting latency is 170ms! holy crap, speed is 13.72/0.4 mbp download/upload and there was mention of some upload packet loss

this is using plusnet ADSL2+ btw.

At least your speeds are consistent with that of speednet, mine don't make sense at all.

Just checked mine and i'm getting 122Mbps down,11.59Mbps up which is spot on for Virgin Media, no packet loss and 156ms latency for what it's worth.

I think my latency is pretty high when testing it on the XB1 as well.

Well it does seem the figures are correct as well, Andybtsn you must be right that they are testing via US servers. I guess if we see 160ms as 30ms UK equivalent then I guess your running the equivalent of say 80-100ms in comparison. If that makes sense?

this is what I get on pingtest.net

However the Xbox shows the latency as 150ms - obviously because its testing latency to US servers. Not sure why yours is as high as 300ms though ?
