As said, make a second account. Lie about your age if need be. Done it a few times myself, both made an account and lied about my age.

paul rope do this ^^^ and before you ask, the answer is no, MS do not ban you and come over to your house and break your 360 to pieces if they find out. They would rather you lie about your age, get hooked for the free month they give you and then you pay them for another month's/year's subscription

Another code will only give you 48hrs. Telling a porkie about your age gets you a whole month. In both cases it's free but at least with the second option you won't be back here 2 days later asking for another 48hrs

Rather than giving you a 48 hr code we have suggested that by simply creating another gamertag, something you have already done if you have used live before will give you up to 4 months free

If you don't do the 4 months thing, and say I give you a 48 hour code, you will be back here on thursday asking for another one, and so on etc

Your choices

Hope someone gives you a 48hour code and another and another etc

Save up, work weekends, trade in a game at a highstreet shop etc

Do the 4 free months thing

Ask Mum

A 48hr trial can be added to your normal silver account's gamertag. The new accounts are for brand new gamertags.

Maybe he wants to use the 48 hour code so he can use his normal Silver account and get achievements? Is that such a hard concept to understand?

Give the man a code or leave the thread, he has already implied he does not want to create a new account etc. And stop giving him grief about the cost of live, who cares if it is a few pence a day, he doesn't have it or doesn't want to pay? No point in banging on about his age and lack of money.

(btw I don't have any spare codes, else I would oblige).

What? You do know you can get achievements on a silver account right? In fact you don't even need a silver account. You can just have a basic profile and get achievements.

I was saying that if he has his own silver account and wants 48hr trial to get more achievements then signing up a new gamertag (to get 1 month free gold) would be no use to him.
