I'm sure you did, but that is the point, people mix in sarcasm, trolling, sly digs. Its really hard to tell them apart and often those posts cause arguments (and technically most of those posts don't break the rules). For now if Davey deletes/mods those then maybe the problem will reduce.

Fact of the matter was they dropped the price to recapture some sales from the competition. £400 is still too much for some, £370 w/Titanfall is a much better prospect. How did this thread turn into an absolute ****storm?

Have a thread for it specifically and then every other thread doesn't turn into a PS4 vs X1 debate. And also maybe make it a sticky.
PS4 vs XBone thread would clear the rest of the forum up and could potentially be comedy gold!
Ensure there's no personal insults and users can update it whenever there's a price drop, poorer performing game on one console etc.. Devout Xbox fans can defend it to the death citing the power of the cloud & their abundance of fitness games making it the better platform for a healthier lifestyle. PS4ers can shout loudly about being the Console Master Race with 1080p 60fps. Much fun will be had by all!

Yup, back in December 2006. I remember it well, it was a bad time for the forum and the whole problems there resulted in me getting permabanned for a time, as well as several other people who reacted badly to me being banned. I was more popular back then I think!

But at least it would be in one thread, which most normal people wouldn't view or only actually have a look in so they can laugh at the morons. It's got to be better than trashing every other thread? And if it spreads out into other threads then give them a suspension. It's got to be worth a try as this place is a mess at the minute, the fan girls need all rounding up and left in one thread.

Can we allow specific game performance threads outside of the normal game OT threads if people wish to talk about how X game performs better/worse on X console? If people then drag it into the OT thread they can be dealt with.

Not that anyone cares I'm sure, but for what it's worth it seems retailers didn't know about this price drop until the last minute either. Price drop went effective today where I work, and the new POS was delivered in this morning when usually it arrives mid-week ready for Friday, along with comms saying that it was quite a sudden thing hence the delay.

Titanfall which I will sell other than that nothing. I'd like to play Rayman and that's it. I just might as well take up the £279 offer considering the number or worthless games I have sat here and more than a couple 360's.
I don't think I will be able to beat that offer waiting for quite a while.
