I think this just shows how ******* stupid the gaming market is. Do you remember the rage at Steam when it launched? Now look at it, it single handedly revived the PC gaming market. I never thought gamers could be so utterly afraid of change.

This is utter idiocy from the public and has stunted the growth and development of the industry for probably another console cycle. There will be no incentive for devs to bother using the cloud systems to any great extent with these changes.
So whats going to happen to games like Forza 5 that need to use the Cloud for the game to work correctly? Whats going to happen npw? They can hardly say that it doesnt need to be online, when most of the games need the cloud to work?![]()
Really? The set out their plan, people said very clearly they didn't like it and weren't ready for a Steam like digital distribution model yet so MS listened and changed their plan to respond to the feedback from their customers. Seems like the sort of thing a decent company does, why do you feel the need to do the whole "running scared" thing when a company has actually done the right thing by their customers? They say they've "listened to consumers" but it's obvious they were running scared due to the fact the X1 was getting a kicking by Sony for pre-orders.
These games will need Internet, simple.

That's the problem they didnt set it out, people have been posting incorrect info throughout this thread, most people still don't have a clue what they were trying to do and even now we have people saying great they've reintroduced second hand games, actually second hand games was always part of xbone.Really? Sorry, but Kudos to MS as far as I'm concerned.
No what?
Errr, yes?
No more games stored on the cloud - you need the CD to run.
No more family share
