A cut-down version, wonder if they'd now consider making it the full game? Or even giving something else "big" away?

Sony had a good advantage so far, but they will know just what an impact the free copy of FIFA 14 will have, and that's just EU. No doubt US might get Madden for free?

Correct but they are releasing full games if you subscribe to PS+ on a monthly basis i believe

Not sure how i feel about the M$ gamescom... nothing major there just cutting the price difference throwing in a game, some it will work some it wont. Being FIFA theres a high chance people play it and like it so for them a good strategy.
 
So looks like MS cant commit to release date or waiting on ps4 to make the first move, which looks like 29th Oct going by IGN. Sort of lack lusted show no wonder did not stream it :(

Do think the FIFA announcement is the best they could do to appease the EU delays, its pretty much one of the games that a significant majority would keep a delayed preorder for. TBH Im more interested in the Legends UT news...

Just seen the Legends trailer and being a HUGE FUT fan, not even that made me decide i want to stay with M$.. What a load of tripe, and yet undoubtedly another indirect money maker.

£35 for a fighting game with only 6 characters at launch and only 8 total?
 
So the Ultra edition is just a season pass - ouch!

EDIT: Wait Ive assumed theyll have more than 8 characters in the game - surely?

to me that says that each character DLC will $5/£4.25 seperately if you dont go for the pack/full game...

Sounds like pokemon cards in a fighting game, doesnt make sense you would expect £35 for the game and 35+ available characters. Cant see it being successful if thats all it has to offer and its pricing.
