I thought Sunset Overdrive was going to be a launch title?
What made you think that? It's early days I think (hence we only saw a CGI trailer at E3)
I looked at a list of launch titles the other day and it was on there, maybe it's a launch window and not launch day title? Dunno, I was kinda excited for that game even though we haven't had much info on it. Or maybe I just completely misunderstood!

Brilliant news that Fifa 14 is free with the day one edition - along with the ultimate team extras this has me decided that ill be getting both consoles - great decision by Microsoft 
I think it's a great looking line up.

Fifa will be good for people already planning to buy a XB1, but I can't see why it would make anyone change over from PS4 when Fifa will be out for PS4, and PS4 will release earlier and it will still end up cheaper?
Also no launch date is still worrying, either they aren't sure when they will be able to release due to production issues, or they are just waiting for Sony to go first.

Fifa 14 is a huge coup tbh. Ironically I was thinking yesterday "would EA go along with a giveaway that would flood the market with 2nd hand copies?". I forgot it could be downloadable version!!
If I was a football fan and I could only have 1 console, I would have switched this morning (in Europe obviously)
I guess there is a set amount of FIFA packs as they say pre-orders only. But the idea of future bundles is good. I think it only takes 1 AA-ish game to offset the price difference. I forget what the price difference is in UK (£50?) but I suspect with bundles and deals being offered by retailers the real price would not be that different between the 2 machines.
Killer Instinct pricing is terrible If you want to revive a game/franchise. Don't overprice it and prey on the nostalgic folk who are most likely to buy a 10 year old game!!

It will make people change because FIFA is the main title people play for people who own it and they want the most they can get from it, the legend cards will draw people in as UT has people hooked on getting the best cards.
Also since when did you know the release dates before anyone else?
I'm going by the rumoured release dates.
Another disadvantage I just noticed; XB1 Fifa is a digital download so will be locked to your account, and i'm guessing most will usually trade in the previous Fifa when a new one is released.
I'm guessing most people don't trade it in till close to when the new version is released and the old one is worth pittance
Same with COD and other annual titles isn't it? You buy the game, you whinge for a few months that it has the same flaws as last years, but you keep it, you play it, and you enjoy it with your mates for pretty much 1 year! Then the cycle begins again.

I Did say 'guessing' as I don't like any of the yearly rehash games so never buy them anyway
One thing that just occurred to me about FIFA (and COD partly). If the games release on the current consoles first (FIFA is usually Sep/Oct release?) what will people do? Buy on their current console and then move over to the next gen version when the XB1 is released?
I don't play FIFA and don't really know about this FUT mode but I guess you sink in a lot of hours to build up stats or squads? I guess stuff like this is saved to your LIVE account and syncs to different versions?
I guess this year the COD/FIFA players will be split 4 ways!!! 360, PS3, XB1, PS4 (probably in that order of popularity?)
