Damn I would have been interested in XO if it had free Forza, at least thats a AAA game, FIFA just isnt. Ones a system seller in its own right, the other just isnt...

I'm the other way round its all about the specs as these are consoles that are going to last us years. Why base your buying decision on a handful of launch games that 6 months down the line will be long forgotten and you will be stuck with a less powerful machine and a company that wants to de emphasise the game playing aspect*

just noticed this on the high street game stores website...
I'm unnaturally excited at the prospect of a new Gears game on next gen...But it's not just launch games, it's the exclusives that continue down the line like Forza, Halo, Gears etc

Dunno - even Sony say devs won't be able to get the best out of PS4 for 3 years - by the time any difference in relative power makes a noticeable difference the consoles will be cheap enough to just buy a "PS4 slim" as well for a couple of hundred quid (or a few traded in XO launch titlesI'm the other way round its all about the specs as these are consoles that are going to last us years. )Then buy/upgrade a PC.
Now to see if I can swap to a Forza bundle in store and not lose my place.
I love console gaming? I'm just saying the chance to upgrade hardware is so rare I want to make sure I get the most future proof one if you like.
Edit; Both in terms of hardware, and company direction.

Sorry I termed that wrong, as in if it was Forza from the start, that actually was something to consider, far more of a pull towards XO for sure. Just thought, US XO Day One 'pre-orderers' must not be impressed at all...What? Forza 5 is available for free.
Have you played the latest FIFA, its the weakest of the last few, and as you can see here, its nowhere near as good as quality or system draw as Forza is...Of course it's a AAA game![]()

I didn't realise buying an Xbox One at launch tied me into the system for life with no hope of buying a different console down the lineI'm the other way round its all about the specs as these are consoles that are going to last us years.
