**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

email from shopto, guess you guys should have waited a bit ;)

" Dear Valued Customer,
We are pleased to announce that due to unprecedented demand for the Xbox One 'Day One Edition' Console with Forza 5 we have worked closely with Microsoft and have managed to secure additional stock of this item. We will be releasing this stock for pre-order as a stand alone item and it will not be bundled with any additional products. We understand that not everyone has 24/7 access to the Internet so to be fair to all our loyal customers we will be opening pre-orders for the additional stock in three separate batches as follows: 1. This afternoon (5/9/13) - 4:30pm GMT 2. This evening (5/9/13) - 10:00pm GMT 3. Tomorrow morning (6/9/13) - 10:00am GMT Once a batch has sold out we will stop taking pre-orders until the next scheduled time. If you would like to switch to this item please do so using the SWAP feature in your account. Please note there is very limited stock available so pre-orders are limited to one per customer and will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
Kind Regards,
ShopTo Customer Service

What they should have done from the start.

They no doubt lost a lot of pre orders because of it. Glad to see they listened.

OH ok so it must be from order date then, No luck with the code? I might email them it if you can find it

there is currently a code for money off your first ever order on the homepage and in your account try using that - I think thats the one :) or maybe even 3U7R3 for 10%

Good news from Shopto although I have not been able to access the site since 16:30.

I think I will just stick with Amazon far less hassle.

I'm the opposite actually, I've found them to be awesome. I had to contact them once as some points hadn't applied to my account properly after a multi-game order. They not only added the points inside an hour, they added some extra that I hadn't noticed. Couldn't complain about that.

Well I suppose results are always going to vary.

I actually found that they changed for the worse mostly after they got a lot bigger, in the wake of GAME's collapse and them taking on some of their head office staff. They are also selling all kinds of tat now that they didn't use to and aren't as competitive as they were when smaller, I'm not seeing so much appeal with them anymore.

Their website tends to frustrate me ever since that was changed. I hate the fact that if you want to see a trailer for a game, or see the video of what a special edition comes with, you have to sit through the same stupid advert for another game.

Also when they launched the new website, there was no way of contacting them. There was no phone number listed, the help support system just went around in circles and didn't have any e-mail help address or form you could contact them with. When I tried to reply to the order e-mail, it just bounced back as a no-reply e-mail and told me to use their online help system! It does at least look like they have amended that now though as the helpline number is at the bottom of the webpage.

Their website also does appear to be falling apart at the seems right now.

Personally I think perhaps the smart thing with the Microsoft bundles would have been just to offer credit or a code which allows you to choose which game you want to redeem. That would make a lot more sense. I suppose though it was more of a last minute thing to try and help improve sales over the Playstation.

MS are now changing the RRP, games are now £45 to £55.

MS store.

Not sure if you mean all games or only MS published ones, as their own games are all at £49.99.

I mean the MS published games. They confirmed a month or two ago that all their published games would be £49.99. I give it a few months before we start seeing games at £40 instead of nearer £50.
