He said the pad was fine but then again he's an eggbox fanboy!
Hardly. I just really dislike the Sony controllers up till now.
Had a good mess around with the pad while I was waiting for Dead Rising 3 to load which seemed to take an eternity and I probably looked like an idiot while I was sitting there waggling sticks and mashing buttons.
The pad was fine, couldn't spot any issues and when playing it didn't feel like I was using a vastly different pad to the 360 one which I suppose is a good thing. Bumpers were fine, a little stiffer than the 360 ones but it wasn't noticeable at all when actually playing.
The sticks were also fine, I've seen comments from some people saying the sticks were loose but I didn't notice that. Maybe less tension in them but they're no less precise than the 360 ones. They did feel shorter than I'm used to, especially as I use KontrolFreek thingies on my sticks for my 360 but again, when actually playing the games it felt fine.
D-pad? It's a d-pad, I rarely use the damn things but it seemed fine

I never got to try Ryse as it broke or something and I couldn't be bothered hanging around eating free mars bars and crisps all night while they fixed it

Might try and get to the PS4 lock-in at Gateshead as I'd like to get a go on their new controller but I know Soulja is going to one tomorrow so he can tell us how it is.
