Oh, I know I'll get a PS4, but it won't be until InFamous is out, as nothing else on the PS4 interests me right now. If I'm still loving the games I buy at launch, I may wait a little while for it, but I'm certain that I'll have the PS4 by Easter

I want the console on release date but I know the first versions usually have problems.

Not always. It was only the original model Xbox 360s that really suffered from problems, and they were design issues that Microsoft certainly won't allow to happen again (especially since they fixed it so they know how to avoid it now). The PS3 had issues as well but again, Sony know how to avoid them too. Some consoles will undoubtedly break, but I don't think it'll be because of some inherent design flaw, just bad luck like with any electronic item.

thats nice, i like little touches like that. theres talk about not being able to change the background colour behind the tiles tho. probably get added in a later update.

I do see your point though you would have thought they would have had stuff like this sorted already. Then again they do just seem to be making stuff up as they go along. I'm sure if we all whinged they hadn't thrown in a 50 inch plasma and made loads of youtube videos MS would cave and throw one in

I'm getting Forza 5, FIFA (free - anyone wanna swap??) and probably COD now (instead of the AWOL Watch Dogs). Will pick up Dead Rising and Assassins Creed at a later date - still have plenty to keep me going on the 360, so don't need XO overload.

Yup, one month to go! I've got my time off booked now, just need to hope something doesn't come up that forces me to come into work. I also still need to sort out my pre-orders for Ryse and NBA 2K14 and I'll be good to go.

Can we have a poll to see what games people are getting at launch? Really don't know what to get now watch dogs has been delayed.

BF4 + the FIFA14 download, but I'm trading the BF4 in as soon as I possibly can to exchange for CoD or GTA or Forza.

Why am I getting BF4 in the first place? Cheapest and only available bundle I'm able to find

I also spoke to Tesco last night, should be able to choose Forza bundle rather than FIFA on the night. Just need to get near the front of the queue.

If they end up at launch being under £40 ill pick them up too (unless NBA14 ends up being a corker)

All the people pre-ordering loads of games - isn't it a bit risky just buying loads of stuff when we don't know if they're any good or not?! Do you pre-order then cancel after reviews or just take a risk and jump in blind? What if they turn out to be crap? Just asking as I am usually very picky about what I pre-order; I've only done it once this year with TLoU and that turned out OK but generally I wait it out.

I think with most of the launch games, you can make a general guess as to whether they will be good or not.

There is a possible question over some of the new IPs like Ryse, which could turn out to be quite average, but pretty much everything is a sequel or yearly update, so you can gauge it based on past games.

Well we would like to think the opening gate first party/ exclusives will have SOMETHING worthy to them as launch titles, things like BF4 are pretty sure bets though I would imagine, apart form the usual EA/DICE utter and total mess that will take about 3 weeks to fix...then every 6 months after that.

The only thing I would be holding out for a little is that the hardware is working okay.

Im waiting to see on stuff like Ryse and Dead Rising 3, pretty safe with Forza which is the only other thing than fifa i have currently ordered.
