Anyone know what day they are being delivered on? I have a day one Xbox One from Game but dunno when its been shipped. With it being launch day on a Friday I don't know whether to have the parcel delivered to work or to my home. Seeing as no one is home Friday but then no one is in work Saturday!

Indeed. I think having features (like friends, chat, video upload) as apps works quite well. I like the neat touch whereby you can see how many people are playing such and such a game.
It's like a smart TV on steroids.
I just watched Dead Rising 3 trailers and looks like great fun, then watched Resogun for the first time and can't quite see why everyone was so excited. It has some nice effects but it seemed to consist of holding down fire then just alternating up/down/up/down to sweep the screen.
XB1 preordered (again) with free Fifa code, Dead Rising 3 and Battlefield 4. Might get Forza as well. That 55" TV is in for a real treat.

You know the answer to that really. DR3 if released mid cycle in a consoles life would barely raise an eyebrow. It will sell well as king kong did when the 360 came out, not because it will be stunning but there's little else on offer.
As much as I like to buy new things is there really not enough due this quarter on the 360 to make this a must have play? Surely it makes more sense to let others iron the bugs out and see where these consoles sit against each other.
There will then be a ton of second hand DR3 in the trade in bin if you really feel the need
When the 360 came out I was ready for a new system and didn't have much in the way of games to play. This time there's plenty, games like AC4 I can't see the game has been built that well for a new console so you may as well play it cheaper on the 360 and wait for a proper optimised version next year, same with COD.
So in short, no
ps I go through the same dilemma daily, luckily I'm tight and my brain rules my wallet.

Just got back from Game with them pushing their "deals".
They were as shown on here (somewhere back in this thread before the latest batch of bickering)
The interesting part is they let you add any of the games to the bundle for -£10 from the rrp. so that's either 40 or 45 a game extra.
They don't include special editions in that which makes for a little dilemma for me, forza 5 day one for £40 or LE for £60, at and extra £10 the extras were worth it at £20 I'm not so sure.
So im looking at a "value pack" which will be a day one console with FIFA plus BF4 for 469.99 plus DR3 and a copy of Forza 5 (which version TBD) a play and charge kit (£20) and maybe a years live for £29 which includes a extra guy for killer instinct.
I have 10 months left on my live but an extra 12 months at £29 is a pretty good price including the bonus.
