Okay, I picked this up at a midnight launch last night and here are a few things I'm going to mention.
1: If you're collecting in person, this seems like an obvious one but if it's in a bag make sure you support under the bag with your arm as it's a pretty heavy box and it will likely tear and stretch some plastic bags.
2: When you get home, don't be an idiot like me and forget there are two different HDMI ports at the back. I spent 30 minutes thinking I had a brick as it wasn't outputting HDMI only to discover when I looked at the back of the console I had it in the wrong HDMI port.
3: Games can take a little bit to install, Ghosts took me about 30 minutes to install 25% but at that point you can start playing the game and the rest installed very quickly from there. NFS: Rivals can be played from the 12% mark and the whole game installed after about 15 minutes maybe a little less.
4: The voice commands are actually awesome, I never publicly displayed this on here but I was one of those people that thought the voice commands were a novelty and it would be just as fast using the pad to navigate. I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised, the 'XBox, use a code' command has been an absolute god send. GUI seems responsive and fast and the XB1 has understood everything I have said thus far (quite an accomplishment for a Northern Irish guy).
Overall, I'm really impressed so far. In work now but looking forward to going home and messing around with it again.
