**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

Mines still sat all alone in the DPD depot, says expected delivery today but as of yet no timeslot :-( Oh well not the end of the world not even allowed it till xmas anyway :'(

I can hear it especially when a disc is inside the drive and it spins up but it goes silent once you take the disc out...not dead silent, can still hear a bit of a hum but nothing like the jet engine that was the original 360 lol:eek:

I see so how does one delete games to make space then?? or are they adding that into the dashboard at a later date??

+1 to that, thats about the only major niggle i have...should have just put 3-4 usb slots at the front with a flip down panel.
 
I want mine :(

No work till Monday now. Instead i going to have to interact and make conversation with the mrs over the weekend :(

I cant even tell mines is on. Installing BF4 at the moment and its totally quiet.

I think when doing the update there is a slight hum....I remember that. After the update it is ninja quiet :)
 
When using kinect voice comments does anyone know how you stop that pop up bar at the bottom coming up? I constantly have to say xbox home to be able to select anything off my dashboard

Surely must be a way to stop it coming up?

How can I check my free space?
Xbox One monitors your available hard drive space. When it starts to fill up, a message appears on your dashboard warning you that you’re low on space. These messages are stored in Notifications. You can check to see if you have any unread messages by saying “Xbox, go to notifications” or by selecting Notification to the left of the Home screen.

If you don’t have any notifications, it means that you have plenty of free space. If you are running low on space, try deleting unused or seldom-used content.
 
This DPD tracking page is doing my nut in!!!

My driver Wyn has been past my house about three times now to deliver parcels to people a street or two away from me, he's now gone about 5 miles in the other direction.

I keep looking at it going "ooh maybe he'll be early!" :(
