**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

Just had mine delivered via Yodel, no problems. Although the chap did get me to sign both a tablet and sheet of paper as apparently "some have gone missing today".
 
Doesn't look like I'm getting mine till at least Monday. God damn Zavvi, or maybe DPDs fault?

"Parcel details received, awaiting receipt of your parcel" since Wednesday.

Because they don't want you contacting the stores.

Highly frustrating, ring the premium number, get nothing but stock levels and opening times.

Really annoying.
 
How does a XB1 fit in with a AVR? Sky>AVR>XB1>TV? If so how does HD audio from blurays work? Or should the AVR be between TV and XB1?

I'm tempted to buy one but I <3 HD-MA and would use the console as a player like I do currently with my PS3.

AFAIK ARC won't do HD audio nor will optical but will the xbox play ball not being top of the chain?
 
Just had a quick play with the Upload studio. Its pretty easy to use. You can upload videos to Skydrive and then upload to YouTube or do further editing.

Quite surprised that 360 and X1 players can't interact at all apart from sending messages. Can't talk in a party/private chat or even see what your friends are doing :eek:

I can understand chat not working as the codecs are different but you can't see what Xbone people are up to via the web, either. It just says "Playing Xbox One" rather than the specific game now.
