**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

Mine didn't turn up today either, quite disappointed with Amazon/Citylink but I understand I'm probably part of a select few who got unlucky. Hopefully it will come tomorrow.

Got BF4 but nothing to play it on! :(.

When I bought my box 1, I got free first class delivery. Do you not get that when you ordered?

I'm tempted to buy one but I <3 HD-MA and would use the console as a player like I do currently with my PS3.

AFAIK ARC won't do HD audio nor will optical but will the xbox play ball not being top of the chain?

If you have a proper AV receiver, the best thing is to have everything connected directly to it as you do now. You can connect your Sky box to the Xbox if you really want to, providing it'll pass-through the 5.1 signal from it but from what others have said, you need the Xbox turned on to view anything which makes it all rather pointless.

I never got my charge kit today either from Amazon. They told me I would get it today.

Consider that they want you to use the xbox as the centre of your entertainment system, I have a feeling that it is not in their interest to provide passive pass through. They would want you to watch it on your Xbox., through the Xbox.

Nah because it was being shipped to Brussels (I am British just living in Belgium at the moment :p ) So for release date delivery I had to pay for One Day Delivery to Belgium which cost £25.... Least I have got that refunded by Amazon since it is not going to arrive today :)
 
Does anyone know how to use the headset? My mate and I could only figure out how to chat using the kinect mic.

My mate said "Xbox, record that" and it started recording on mine. Haha.
 
Argos has the 500GB Xbox One £429 Ready to be shipped in 2 days, Guessing this is because A. Not the ONE Edition B. Rubbish Value since compared to the bundles.

Will anyone be doing this who hasn't pre ordered like myself?
