Sally O says:
Hello Wilson. My name is Sally O how can I help you?
Wilson says:
Hello Sally, I have ordered an xbox one bundle order number XXXXXX
Wilson says:
Is it actually in stock or has it been pre ordered.
Sally O says:
I can confirm that it is in stock and your order is in progress
Wilson says:
Thank you. One other question I am able to return an unwanted game that was part of the bundle for a refund.
Sally O says:
unfortunately not as it is a bundle game and part of a package, i'm afraid you will only be able to trade it in. I apologise for the inconvenience
Wilson says:
Thank you Sally.
Wilson says:
Bye.
Sally O says:
I hope you have a lovely day, if you have any further queries don't hesitate to get back in contact.

Sally was rather nice.

Funnily enough I've just had a chat too - although mine was a little more unhelpful... nevertheless.. if you get a dispatch notice please let us know, as I wouldn't like to order if there's no stock :p

woooo my XO arrived :D Had a little peek inside the box. I have to say personally the Kinect is a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be. Even the console looks smaller than I originally thought it would be.

Can't wait to get home now :D

My friends going to the USA and thinking of buying the Xbox One from there as it seems to work out cheaper than buying in the UK, but just wondering if the console would still be covered by the warranty here in the UK? Apart from needing a 240v adaptor aswell

I'm not at all impressed with the hdmi pass through feature. The image quality of sky hd is noticeably worse and it seems to have introduced some lag. Poor.

I highly doubt it.

The Xbox One is set globally at 60hz, that's games, tv, Netflix, Skype, everything. Problem is outside the US everything, including Sky, UK Netflix, Virgin, PAL DVD playback, is set to 50hz so the One is doubling up frames here and there hence the juddering which is most noticeable on panning shots and fast moving sports.

Lots of people are starting to make a fuss, i.e. http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/xbox-50hz-201311233468.htm

I don't know what they can do. They can maybe add a 50hz mode for full screen tv but it would mean anything that overlaid would possibly need a recode and switching would add a seconds black screen as the refresh changed.

What they really need to do is what they ended up doing with the 360 is letting the whole thing run at the native 50hz, but with all the apps and games set to 60hz I don't know how feasible this is. It's all a bit of a mess.

I'm still loving this. I'm used to gaming at 1600P on the PC with everything in Ultra so I'm used to having lovely looking graphics. I love the games I've played so far, maybe I'm not as fussy as I used to be but Ryse looked amazing, KI looks fantastic for a beat em up and Dead Rising looks good and I've not had a single slow down on it yet. I'm loving my time on the new console, I'm looking forward to trying to PS4 when it arrives Friday but for the time being I think the xbox is going to be my console of choice.

Started playing Ryse multiplayer last night, might actually buy the season pass for it, I've already paid £3.19 for one of the costumes :D
