Actually I think it's coming from the power brick, very slight fast clicking sound coming from the console when I put my ear to it as well though.

If you just have to pay £600 check Gumtree you will probably be able to pick one up where you live. I have two locally to me priced at £600, or check Game they do have consoles being returned or not picked up but you have to be quick.

Haha welcome to my living room. Where i spent ££££ on gloss black furniture and a gloss black/clear glass dining table and regret it after 2 days of purchasing.

There's some decent offers in my local area on Gumtree. Just wouldn't want to not have any rights if I buy one from someone on there and its buggered... although most have a receipt with them.
 
I have just managed to order a day one console from Game:) I used stockchecker.co.uk to keep and eye out and this time I luckily managed to find stock unfortunately I had to buy a bundle which included the Forza, BF4, Fifa and call duty ghosts.
 
Just been round the local shops to see if anyone failed to pick up a preorder but alas I am Oneless still.

I hope Amazon get their stock in earlier so I can get it before the 13th. The money is itching to leave my account .

Yeah Game, Chesterfield had a few of these in last night.

There seems to be plenty of stock at game it is my guess they have kept consoles back to sell them as bundles with extra games.
 
My concern about the Game website is it's not 100% clear if they have them in stock or not. The banner above the bundle says Guaranteed for Xmas.

I'm kinda same as you. I did preorder a Xbone, but later changed my mind and stopped that and preordered a PS4, which is due to turn up on launch. But I now want a Xbone cos DR3 does sound like it is as good as the first two, and I want to play it :)

However, I'm not super eager for one (as I have a PS4 coming) so I have just preordered again at shopto, they say guaranteed before xmas so not all bad.

As someone else said above, it's tempting to buy at a slightly inflated price on gumtree/ebay (more inflated) but then you have no come back if the BR drive dies or sumin.
 
I've spent a bit of time with COD Ghosts now, and just can't get into the multiplayer. I was all over Black Ops II multi, prestiging a bunch and really enjoying it.

Am I just getting bored of the same thing again or am I really missing something? Thinking about trading in for BF4, and noticed a lot of people in this thread seemed to have gone with BF4.... thoughts?

(didn't wanna post in the COD/BF specific threads for fear of bias!)

Just to add a comment about Forza, I love it, it's so satisfying to win, and letting you tweak the drivatar difficulty really helps to tailor your experience!
 
I think for me with the BF series ( havnt played 4 yet) is you can do the run and gun things if you select a few maps which is COD 'esq, but if you want to you can go for all the vehicles, proper sniping etc.

You can play BF games as you want.

I am looking at that too - but says 'Guarantee for Christmas' so I can't actually ascertain if it is in stock now for delivery... have you had a confirmation on this at all?

I think you're right, there doesn't seem to be the whole 'hold back and have a tactic' in COD, at least I haven't figured it out...
