Just fired up my new console it is now about to update but how long does the console need to get ready? Do I get a progress bar or does it just sit saying getting ready until the jobs done?

From what I have read there is no progress bar and you just need to wait it out!

Question. Of the two movement sticks, does the right side one have some give in yours? I mean that you can pull it up quite far (away from controller), but the left side one doesnt move.

This is ebay & paypal take about 14% so thats about £504 in the sellers pocket (£75 profit if the xbox cost £429 retail). Which is nice but not an insane profit. Amazing how much money ebay makes!

There's loads of unsold auctions and ones that have gone for less than retail - def not an eBay profit bonanza!

There is a bar present when the update downloads, but not when it actually updates, just sits at a screen for quite a long time looking like nothing is happening.

What games does everyone have and could recommend? looking at Ryse but would like to play a demo really, before spending £44.99.

I thought Microsoft were doing demos of all games where you got like the first 20 minutes of gameplay until I asked you to buy? maybe that went out the window with the rest of the nice features they had planned originally?

Same here. They honoured some people. I guess the earlier orders. They aren't very speedy in refunding from past experience. :/
