**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

Realised my day one pad is broken. The shoulder buttons are very hard to press but I didn't realise it was a fault until I tried another controller and the ease of pressing their buttons.

What's the deal with taking back a pad?

In what way are they hard to press? harder nearer the centre of the controller and easy when pressing on the outer edge? (like mine) or just hard to press wherever?

Managed to get lucky and picked up the Fifa14 bundle today

Can't use it though as my main TV broke a few weeks back and the old HD telly has a broken hdmi port and my monitor is dvi!!!

I would steal my daughters tv but she is playing minecraft :(

So tonight i used my headset / mic for the 1st time while playing forza 5 the Party coms sound came via the headset , but the game sound still came via the TV speaker , how can you change it so both coms and game sound are output via the same device ??
as i had to turn down the game sound very low just to hear the Coms sound via the headset.

hey guys hoping you techies can help me

me and my lad both have xbox ones , now when i put mine on when hes not playing i get a open nat.

but when he puts his on my nat changes to moderate and it has caused a few probs.

i have been told i can put mine in the dmz on my router with a static ip or something like that and it will help.

can anyone give me a simpleton guide on how to do this and if it will work thanks :)

Log into your router and set the DMZ to the IP of your Xbox. Can't give you any more details than that as you haven't even told us what make/model your router is.

I dont think it is possible to get your TV sound through the standard headset, you would probably need some Turtle Beaches for that.

Anyone having issues with their Xbox Live trials? For example I can play online but yet I can't respond to messages on xbox.com but apparently I don't have Live?

My other half's Xbox says she has Live when scanning her 14 day trial code yet when going to play MP on a game it says she doesn't have gold!

Jebus.

Well UPNP = Universal Plug n Play so should handle the forwarding for you. I assume whats happening is one xbox is connecting to the TCP/UDP ports so the other is in strict/moderate. This would also happen if you're using static IPs instead of letting DHCP handle it (static IPs, one will always be listed as moderate).

I would create some rules so that your xbox connects to these ports:

Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
