I really dont know what to do with my ps4 preorder. I have a ps vita and was excited for the remote play feature but the games do t look great on ps4 tbh. I like the better hardware tho and ps plus is great
After watching the 12 video of the ui on the xbone.... it truly feels like next gen features and looks just fantastic to use. I really dont know if to switch my preorder.

I cant see why not as I dont think Amazon gift cards are tied to an account so it would be the same as someone else buying the gift card for you and then you redeeming it.
Eg, when you buy a gift voucher from Play.com you can choose who it is emailed to, yourself or someone else. It dosent register any names or account numbers afaik. Its just a serial/voucher number.

Just been reading about some of the game install/download sizes. I'm feeling kind of hacked off actually as I have the Forza5 day one bundle and I've just worked out on my 1.5M/bit internet connection it's going to take around 4 DAYS to get all 35Gb of Forza5 downloaded......

Maybe you could find someone with the install disc that you could borrow? AFAIK, you can use the disc to install the game and then when you take the disc out, it will ask you to insert the disc or buy your own copy. So you can type the code in and then the game will play!
This only works for Xbone though. The digital and disc versions of PS4 games are entirely separate.
Thanks for the info. I'll maybe see if I can track down someone with a copy I could borrow to install. It's either that or take the console into work or round to a friends/relatives with a faster link.

Yep don't think I'll be playing FIFA for a while. Glad I preordered a physical game to go with the console. Although my internet isn't as slow as yours
it would still take longer than I'll be willing to wait on day one.Cannot believe Microsoft banned that guy for showing us the console. It is targets fault for sending him the console 2 weeks early. Anyone in their right mind would just play it and use it early. Target should be penalised not the purchaser.

Pretty sure you can start playing before you've got the whole file but not sure at what percentage it'll start letting you play.
Every time I see someone say something along the lines of "I'm shocked about the ban" "I can't believe he was banned" I just wanted to ask....really?
Are you really surprised that a gaming console not due for release until 2 weeks after it was shipping was banned from use?
Lets be honest, it will only be temporary.
