My one x came yesterday after a "treat yoself" moment, caught the shop to deal so it came with Forza, pubg and doom. Quite happy even though I would've preferred a ps4 pro (all friends only play xbox). Hopefully the library will increase next year as it seems to be getting left behind in terms of first party exclusives.

Given that the whole series seems to have been parked I think it's very unlikely they'll be updating it
More sense? Hmm, not really, however things don’t seem so disjointed and abstract. Training missions are better by miles.Thanks! Does the game make more sense now too? I remember at launch not really knowing what I should do etc and ended up getting a bit confused

Finally setting up my project scorpio edition (I wasn't allowed it till today!) One thing I have noticed is at the back in the middle of the console it seems to be wider, I've pushed it together and it clicks like it's snapping into place but doesn't stick, not a big deal as long as it work2
Opened up my Scorpio yesterday. The unit itself is very nice and when people say it’s heavy, they’re not wrong!
There was a lot to set up and didn’t manage to get into a game yesterday morning due to updates and game installs...
Coming from a Pro the UI is a bit unintuitive but I’m sure I’ll learn it soon enough. My main problem is that games seem to look really contrasty and its offputting. Edges on hard lines are weird and don’t look right either. Like it’s being oversharpened. The UI elements all look a bit jagged around the edges. Almost like heavy compression. This is at 1080p.
Started playing the Witcher 3 again on x at 60 FPS and the whites are too white, blacks are too black and the colours are too vibrant! Not sure what’s going on. There’s a billion settings to change in the console so I’m sure I’ll sort it somehow.

Grabbed it too! Sticking with 4k mode as performance dips way to much imo, would prefer a solid lower rate than a consistently fluctuating high one. I do like that we get the option
Hdr is truly blinding! Really nice
It does indeed look very nice, i've gone with 4K it seems fairly rock solid thus far as far as frame rate is concerned but I'm only in the beginner area.
It's not that I want certain titles, it just seems when you compare to PS and even Nintendo 2017 wasn't as good a year. Even notable gaming blogs have picked up on the issue.
I'd like some new IP's. Though I'm looking forward to state of decay 2 and I might give crackdown a look in.
