Do any of you guys think we will really see anything with regards to HDMI2.1 when it is rolled out in to TV's? Such as what can we expect, will you see anything i the games we play?

Just curious as I'm itching to get a new OLED TV but not sure if I should hang fire. I'm all for getting the tech but there is little point if we won't get much out of it until the next generation which I too think will be around 19/20.

I can only imagine how good RDR 2 is going to look on a Scorpio in 4K.

Yeah, they have said they will update when they get certification. Apologies if I've come across as otherwise. I was trying to find out if this would just be something that would positively effect all games on the X or if it was something that would require coding and if so if people think it would be used much.

Star wars battlefront 2 supports one features in game.

Was tweet from Xbox saying it will pass 2.1 before release date

The whole point of consoles was that you had a single base to develop from and gave a level playing field online. Xbox One having a 4 year life span is pretty poor. 360 was near enough double that. Developers need to focus on the gameplay rather than GFX. Forza 7 is case in point just another rehash but a little prettier.

Based on their performance for me with the Mini Snes i'd suggest avoiding Amazon. It was only a day late mind, but still not release day.

I too recommend avoiding Amazon, came back from holiday to find they had cancelled my Scorpio pre-order.

I’m still unsure about keeping my Scorpio pre-order, will the difference be that great in reality? It’s £450 for the One X, I’ll get back around £100 for my One S so that’s £350 difference! I could keep my One S and buy a Switch for what it will cost for a One X but I do like to have the latest and greatest, so undecided lol
