I don't find it as laggy on the newest update but it's still not anywhere as smooth as the ps4 xmb, I just don't understand how MS haven't improved this when you compare both xbox dash and ps4 xmb, the ps4 xmb is so silky smooth to navigate.
Xbox dash is a laggy and cluttered mess.

I would love to see a complete new design.
 
I don't think the PS4 is silky smooth. My Pro lags goddamn awful at times which I surmise is to do with it fetching extra data from the HDD or internet. If the next-gen consoles don't have their operating systems in solid state memory then it's pathetic.

I was only referring more to the general speed of navigating the menus, (in HDR its a little more laggy). It just feels more fluid to me on PS4.
 
My PS4 Pro lags worse than my 1X when browsing along the XMB (menu bar), whereas the Xbox seems slower at actually populating the menu/tiles but once loaded is perfectly smooth.

The interface seems alright to me. On the latest insider and using instant on.

Yes, press 'view' button to toggle.

The only thing I have adjusted in the menu was the button layout as I like bumper from grenade and trigger for ADS. Sorry I dont know of GFX options but shall have a look later.

Found out the hard way yesterday Fallout 4 GOTY has always on DRM :eek: My net connection dropped for a few minutes to resync & as soon as it did the game kicked me out back to the main menu & the save was corrupted. Then I could not login again until the net connection came back as it said it required a LIVE profile currently connected to LIVE servers :rolleyes:
 
Just started playing Sunset Overdrive. It’s a shame this is only 900p and has received no PC port nor X enhancements. It would look amazeballs in 4K.
