@rickjames, unless you got super fast internet, I would book the following day off as it will take hours to install and download the games
Yes, just a usual check, name address, employment status etc. Went through fine on the game site at about 8.20 this morning and got the game and Klarna confirmation pretty much straight away

Got another one from ao, 3 now for me and the boys.
My 7 year old is just getting into games. I have bought a Series X for me and no doubt he will get his eye on it, resulting in another £450 outlay come Christmas. Then I have a daughter who is 5 and is envious of her brother playing minecraft all the time when she doesn't have a computer yet...
The potential expenses are mounting!
I wonder whether all these places will be able to meet the number of pre-orders they have with stock on release day.
The MS Store specifically says it is first come first served so i imagine only those that got an order in first thing this morning might get one (but even then it might be touch and go as the website was clearly struggling meaning 1000's of people would have been trying to order)

Yep, and they are selling, highest so far appears to be £650, do these people not realise retailers will get more stock

I don't trust the MS store, they seem to be taking unlimited orders. Not taking any money either.
Ao and very have all taken money straight away for the xbox and ps5 pre orders.

Really hoping they come through, I got my order in at 8:02 so hoping if they do first come first served I got mine in early enough.
MS haven't charged my PayPal as they will do that on dispatch. I had the confirmation email and so on at 8:10 and it says that I should expect it on the day, likely via UPS as everything else off MS was delivered by them. Third console I've bought this way, always the same process.
Shame I couldn't get any accessories ordered to come then too! I'll likely end up with the 1TB extended storage eventually...

Got my Xbox Series X order in and just bagged 2 years of Xbox Gold for £58 (Brazil) and converted to Ultimate. Free month too so expires Nov 2022. £3.33 per month instead of £10.99 Saving around £205 over 2 years.
Just need to try some Cloud gaming until Nov 10th.

I watched a few vids and wasn't overly impressed with the maps and the QS'ing was absolute BS. I also noticed it has SBMM and everybody has been complaining about it.
