Thanks for bringing this to my attention! I've just used it to dim the controller light and power button.

I might do the same but disable the screen dimming as prefer to keep the brightness levels.

Just dimmed the controller and console lights. Good spot…

Looks like MS are finally giving the option for muting the output of the xbox if a headset is connected, its in the early ring testing soon I believe... about time, I often forget to hit mute on the amplifier late at night!

Just use the ambient light sensor on your TV to adapt to the brightness of the room.

You’ve been able to dim the controller light for a long time, but I fired this affaires to the time of day now. I always set mine to the lowest brightness.

I thought only on the elite controller? I googled it a while back and it only mentioned night mode in the insider beta thing.

Its ok I just scheduled it so it only dims the pad and console lights and not the picture.
