Penalty points for those behind? Wtf. I msged about 4 people lastnight that were online to get some games done an didnt get 1 reply? If they choose not to play me what can I do I'm still guna get penalty points. This league seems more for u lot that r friends not for outsiders. If I was to choose not to play people I'm more than likly guna b banned from future leagues lol. This all jus seems overly long.

Can you remember who you msg'd to play? I don't recall seeing you online at all and I was on before and after the Barca game last night. They do take quite awhile to run with the amount of games that are played but all you have to do is post in this thread to say when you are online.

Can we have people XBL tag in the league list please rather than forum name?

Most matches are easy from Akuma. He smashes DeeJay because his run away is amazing, incredible damage and priority, DeeJay's low damage output and his teleport gives him a free get out of wakeup pressure card... which is DeeJay's only tool.

Which is why I preferred going for Akuma over Ryu, his runaway is vital playing against your Deejay. I know you said you weren't paying much attention but I was thinking non stop during our set lol, and at 2-1 up I really thought I had it but I threw it away. I could even sense how limited you were in your options against me but you used what little tools you had very well, whereas I wasn't using Akuma's tools that well at all.

unfortunately im not good enough to exploit all of his tools, im definitely going to lose to ur deejay, but il do my best,im actually getting very bored of shotos im going to start zangief, fuerte or guy

You can beat him but I'm afraid you will have to camp like hell. If you want to watch my games vs Kreeeee, shout me tonight. It was quite close and finished 3-2 to Kreeeee, I used Akuma the whole way and you are 10x better then me with him.

No Balrog. Good look going all out attack on Deejay, I can't even cross him up. I reckon you will change your tactics after 1 game lol, it's all about air fireballs and running away

no you dont! you can safe jump his up kicks and sobats. c.lk will beat all his reversals other than ultra and ex up kicks. dive kick will trade against the ex up kick depending on positions (bad trade for dee jay). as always, double kick and sweep will beat his sobat kicks and most of his pokes.

as long as you can avoid unsafe jumpins and fireball or try to cross him up when he has charge, its easy for any shotos(especially akuma) to beat him.

You should play him then and show us how its done. Writing all that is completely pointless tbh, because you have to be on a certain level to apply those tactics anyway. I rarely have difficulty beating Deejays I've met online but I can't beat Kreeeee that easily despite me using a high tier char and him using a low tier. It comes down to the player really, not the character.

I don't think you have ever chosen Cammy against me, you are confident enough with Hakan and Dan, you haven't needed her...

I've seen Arts and yeah he owns me with Cammy, I was 2-0 up and almost had the 3rd game but he came back and won 3-2 using her

Oh. Lost 3-0 to lazyboy, what a strange gouken. Got owned, I ran in like a rabid dog and got slapped down like a cheap tranny. Really good fireball pressure. Il be back for you if I make top 8

Odd that, I lost 3-2 to Lazyboy and it very close, I felt I should have won against him. Your much better then me yet struggled and lost 3-0!? I suppose styles make fights, also Art has a decent Gouken and I use to play against him a lot which helped. Shame he won't be around for the top 8 because he's pretty much already there I reckon, he's obviously not got his priorities in order... ssf4 > uni

He makes very good use of Gouken's pokes and uses good frame traps from what I can tell. Definitely something I don't do with Gouken!

I dunno, I found his Gouken quite good, but struggled more against his Dan. I must have played your Gouken about a million times though so I don't really fear Goukens in general.

Last reminder for those who haven't already, play Lazyboy ASAP! He has been on most of yesterday and most of today, make that game your next one! This weekend may be your last chance to play him.

Now that I think about it, it doesn't matter if lazyboy plays all his games before he leaves. Assuming he does, he'll probably make top 8.
But he won't be available for the playoffs/tourney.

It only matters for the opposition since they may grab some points, and if he does make top 8 but can't play, no. 9 will go through in this place.

Maybe your Akuma doesn't but didn't my Gouken take your Ryu out
