The xbox was released first so us tech heads all went out and bought one, then new gadget fever probably kicked in when the PS3 was released.

Exactly. People seem to forget that most of this forum is full of techies and isn't really a good representation of the market-share.

I voted for both but I'm likely to get rid of my 360 after Xmas. The PS3 is now beginning to be the machine I've wanted it to be. OK, it may not have the range of games the 360 has but I'm gaming less these days, it's too time consuming.

I voted for both as well and feel the exact same. PSN is getting much better and as a media player it's fantastic, the big games are nearly out and once they are I want to have time to play them. Once my warranty runs out on the 360 I don't feel very safe keeping it and for those reasons I'll probably sell it on.

I currently own a 360.

I bought both at their UK launch but sold the PS3. I may buy one again if some games that interest me appear on it. Currently there's only 1 game I'd be interested in playing on the PS3 which would be Uncharted.

360 only here. Can't see myself getting a PS3 ever due to not having enough time for the 360/PC as it is. Plus I don't like the controllers with a passion.

looking to buy a PS3 in the near future. Unless Uncharted, MGS4 and FFXIII come to the 360.

for now im more than happy with my Xbox 360.

3. Only used the PS3 3 times though - 3 sittings to complete Heavenly Sword, and not touched it since.
