Poll: Xbox360 and PS3 Poll!

Did you need the poll to clarify this for you?
If you wanted to be smart you could have made it an open poll so everyone can see who owns what, and you could have closely correlated the results of this to peoples opinions in posts they make on consoles they do not own etc.The number for "both" is surprising, although without an open poll it is hard to tell who lies and who does not etc (why would they lie?, I don't know.)

Same.
People don't just recommend what they own. I for one recommended a Wii to my sister for christmas despite not owning one, a ds-lite and several games to a mum I know for her daughter despite selling mine and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a PS3 to someone who wanted a blu-ray player and had a penchance for badly controlled dragons.
I would recommend a 360 to people who want to play games this christmas though; I don't just recommend one because I own one.
It's the same after every (and I mean every) online best games of the year poll that puts Bioshock, Halo 3, Mass Effect and Super Mario Galaxy before Uncharted, R&C and Lair; you guys cry 'BIAS' where there really isn't any; the PS3 really is in third place for a reason.

That's a very good point but i'm sure some people do recommend what they own.
I prefer my PS3 over the 360. But i have recommended a 360 to my mates and my cousin, a mate and my cousin have both bought one now. They bought the 360 as it was cheaper, but they still want a PS3 sometime along the line.
I agree with the games you have picked also, Halo 3, Mass Effect and Super Mario are better than what the PS3 has offered this year, Uncharted is really good though.

i own both and i've not used the 360 for weeks, infact i'm considering selling it, the PS3 is taking off now with games, its reliable, quiet can play Blu-ray films which are now outselling HD-DVDs and TBH i'm just fed up with the shoddy hardware issue's and noise of the 360 along with paying for Live as i'm not a heavy user of it.
I turned my PS3 on for the first time in a couple of months, its a nice moment when there's then no VRROOOOOOOOM WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH sound like the 360
I use it for media purposes right now, streaming vids and all that jazz.
Hoping to get some games over Xmas, Singstar definately being one. I love them both!

I wish they'd bring out a metal pack, or Guitar Hero style music. Would be awesome.
