As title. my son wants to use a wireless adapter with his xbox 360, and considering the cost of the microsoft version I was wondering if its possible ( and easy) to use some other wireless adapter currnetly available.
Any info appreciated, cheers. :)

Unless it's specifically advertised as something like "wireless-gaming adapter" then nope.

Reason is there's no way to install the drivers on the Xbox - the adapters I've mentioned are basically wireless to ethernet bridges and don't require any drivers on the host console - they plug into the network port which already has the drivers on the Xbox.

EDIT -something like http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-002-LS although you might find something cheaper out there.
