Xcom Complete Package on Steam for £2.99!

sooooo which other xcom games are worth a try, i downloaded the lot but was only interested in xcom - apoc as thats the only one i played

Just bought it, i vaguely remember playing xcom terror from the deep around my mates house. If you had to put them in order which xcom game is the best?

I think the people who will like these games are the folks that played them back in the day

awesome awesome games

True, im suprised that people who don't know these games are buying  but then i guess they just think o well £2.99... worth a try

EDIT: this credit card bill is going to be fun to pay off at the end of the month lol, just trying to imagine the cashiers face :p

i wasn't of sound mind last night  I wouldn't have bought them today, not without at least googling to see what they are like. I'm just glad they didn't cost much more than a pint.

Bugger paid £8 for this over the festive period - be nice if they had a calendar with there forthcoming specials on it.

Bah humbug and all that!

i think im starting to get bored of xcom now LOL, its such a long winded game, i remember back in the day i got all the way into the alien world (which was hard) and i never did complete this game :( (xcom - apoc)

i was thinking about downlaoding CS:Source, its £13.99 its still a popular buy according to steam, and now i know how quick and easy it is to buy off steam i may give this game a go

It's only £3 more for the orange box...It'd be pretty mad to buy CS:S by itself.

No it doesnt whatI guess he was trying to say is the orange box is much better value than CSS as you get 5 or so games. Horses for courses though.

Got this, playing through Apoc for about the 100th time, although I've had a few unexplained CTD's.
Also downloaded TFTD, which was the first X-COM game I played back on the PS1. Awesome series although I'm not sure about Interceptor and Enforcer :d.

Its a shame after UFO:Enemey unknown, TFTD and apoc they didn't make any more decent games of the same type. The UFO:after-shock/math/light just doesnt have the feel of the old xcom games, aftermath had starforce so i wouldnt touch that with a 10 foot pole, and afterlight seems realy aimed at a younger audience :(

Still got my xcom:apoc CD here. Never did get it working fully right on XP. Tried dosbox but always had one problem or another. Such a great game but I do reckon I'd get bored with it now. Just don't have the patience for single player games anymore. It's taken me a year of playing COD4 on and off and I still haven't finished it.

Last game I played straight through non-stop was portal. Dunno what changed with me, I used to be able to sit down at xcom:apoc and completely forget about food for the day!

I didn't get into xcom:apoc as much as the previous ones, i just couldnt get used to city and how bases and such worked, compared to the old 3d world screen where you can build bases anywhere (on land in enemy unknown, or under water in TFTD).
