This bit shouldn't be too bad, you should be able to let Reyn tank the mobs (don't hit em for a few seconds) and then start unleashing on them with the skills you have atm.

Don't really undestand what you're saying here. Do you mean you're dying to the two white guardian bots when you pull the tubes? There's no super tactic just kill one at a time.
If you can't do it you either don't have a good grasp of the combat or your gear is really bad.

Go practice killing the large armadillo/rhino mobs by the main town. Reyn is the aggro holder and Shulk is the damage dealer. All these mobs drop armor crates too.

You can't have the Monado at this point so don't worry you haven't missed anything

Use the minions to build up a chain attack, then after you use it on xord he should fall to the ground and then beat the crap out of him.

I take it you have good equipment on and you have levelled up your arts, try using arts were they are most effective, for example if you use the back slash from behind you fill up the chain attack quicker, same with the side attack.

level 24 level 25 and you will be able to survive longer, make sure you have your best gear equipped with gems installed, you dont beat him in 1 go, you only have to make it to a cut scene, do as already said, target the small mechons and get your chain attack built up then topple him, whilst fighting, run around your party regularly and you get to encourage them etc which heals them somewhat, and if you upgrade sharlas heal party art then you will stay alive ages

better to play with wiimote and nunchuck, even though it would seem better to use the control pad, but with control pad you cannot move around and change arts at the same time in combat, only with wiimote and nunchuck, unless you grow another thumb on your left hand

Haven't seen that as a problem as once you get used to it, it takes a split second to switch arts and doesn't really affect movement or battle strategy.

makes it easier to get side and rear attacks in quicker, never said it was a problem, just that it is better

Not found that a problem at all, where's not being able to move around and move the camera around at the same time would annoy me more.

Agreed this was just what I was going to post. Not being able to move and move the camera at the same time would annoy me to no end.

Especially as the default camera angles do get stuck on things sometimes. Has a really bad one in the spiral hill fight where I literally could not see what was going on.

true, so used to have a thumb on the analogue stick and a thumb on the dpad at the same time I never even thought of that lol, an even better reason not to use the pad

Not tried with wiimote/chuck all the reviews mentioned pad was better and still got pad from monster hunter, perhaps I'll give it a whirl.

Still can't beat this ****er,I dunno what I'm doing wrong,I've watched countless youtube video and the ****** still won't go down,one of my party members always dies and then I have revive them and try and build up the chain meter again,I've equipped all the lastest armour etc and I updated my gems,I dunno what to do,I'm getting frustrated at this stage
