If we have a question then we will accept any answer no matter how stupid it is.
If others believe it too then it just re-enforces the idea the answer is correct.

you mean a question that no one has asked before? Or a question that has been answered as best as possible loads of times?

I tend to accept an answer that is backed up with proof.

Virgin birth, man from sky, water into wine ect etc all implausable as aliens woth planes, and volcanoes.
