just noticed there was no xfactor thread..

what does everyone think of the finalists this year

imo, one of the girls will win again this year.
 
I wanted Amy to go through, but I hope Laura wins. The girls are definitely the strongest category this year.
Now I'm going to have a beer and watch porn in a vain attempt to get my masculinity back.

There was a good little column in the NOTW today where the writer instead of naming each contestant mentioned them by sob story.

I haven't watched it this year but as usual the Mrs is hooked.
 
Not sure why the one with the big forehead didn't go through, she had an awesome voice.
I agree, one of the girls will win.

The sob stories are so annoying though!

I suspect its because she is going to go on and star in the new Tefal ads
 
I can't stand it but was discussing it with a colleague today, she said the sob stories are intolerable yet they end up being the ones that are favorites to win.

I agree, she had a brilliant voice..

I think Laura was my fav so far for gilrs and they guy with big arms (cant remember his name) for the guys edit : austin...

Really annoys me when they bang on about someones mum dying or their childs got aids or something. Not being disrespectful, but its a music contest, it shouldn't matter what their family situations, it shouldn't even be mentioned.

Its really quite pathetic because the producers have influence on who goes through aswell ultimately, there is guaranteed to be around 3 or 4 sob stories in the finalists so it gives Dermot something to parp on about in the voice overs. Without them the show would be well short.

According to the papers today, Sharon is replacing Dannii :/

Like Dannii, don't like Cheryl...too much bloody crying.. omg get a grip!!! :rolleyes: and the blonde dad whose wife died was sooo a pity choice... he was far too kareoke.. he won't last.

I think the blonde girl in the girl category or bad lashes will win.

First time I've been interested in X Factor though.

I never post here normally, but cant hold my tongue!

im really enjoying the xfactor this year and I agreed with every single live show choice, I think it will be one of the girls that wins it this year, the groups arent strong so they will be the first victims I reckon.

think the guy from Essex has a nice voice and i think he oozes sex appeal which will defo get the ladies votes!
