Although I do have the occassional glance at the X-Factor this year as I'd tap Holly Willoughby, Cheryl Cole and Fern Cotton.

The auditions is where its at - after that it really is pants, although I do like the 2 new female singers this year - they can sing and have that 'dirty/gritty' aura about them

Don't usually watch it but this year has so many potential suicide victims. Half of them seem close to having mental breakdowns and the other half can't remember their lines. Flopping in front of x million viewers will surely push one or two over the edge. Awesome

Austin and Rachel are my picks to be utterly embarrassed on live TV.

i havent seen the full show yet of who gets through as i was out last night...I went to see Alan Turner in Guildford!!!
my god he's gorgeous!!!
i think it was wrong that he didnt get through to the live shows, he was fantastic last night. I met him in the VIP area after he performed and he said he was surprised that everyone applauded him. bless!

Can't remember her name, but the young blonde girl who sings with a funny accent and has freckles?

She's got an amazing voice, regardless if she wins or not i'm pretty sure she'll end up with some form of contract. She's got a really unique voice, i love it.
