XFI extreme gamer or extreme music?

its a good card but i hope you dont get any of the common issues.

I just installed my new xonar d2x and at last i have crackle free sound.

The xi-fi is going into an older pc now

fortunately i had no problems with drivers just popped the cd in and installed.

may i ask why? I went on the creative website but there are tonnes of things to download and i dont really know which ones to pick. Im on windows xp.

there is beta drivers released but wait till MS sign the drivers

Because you always use the latest driver for any item from their Manu's site.

The CD's can be year(s) out of date.
