Well done Joey, maybe i should buy another HDMI cable as i think my one cost about £1.50 on the bay. For some reason my sound is working over hdmi (at the moment) and that is thanks to you putting this thread up on the forum. I had given up on getting sound through my tv but i have a DAC and amp next to my pc so i had sound through that. Then you posted your problem and i had a mess about with my setup and some how got it working. Don't ask me how i did it but its working. Makes you feel like your the master of the universe when you fix a problem like that.

anywho, ive ordered a longer one, and now i know its just the cable, strongly worded emails if it doesnt work!
