i would say its the new 270, but a 2gb & a 4gb version would make that a little strange!?

Can't be much stranger than the multiple 4GB 960s that were released in the past week on that tiny memory bus surely?

If they give the 370X as much stream processors as the 7970 then it should beat the 960 quite easily. Hopefully that will spark NVIDIA to release a more competitive card in this price range. That would be very good for people looking for low cost GPUs. £150 odd for performance that used to be £450+ about three years ago with 7970/680 flagships and much more efficient.

One can only hope, like ive said previously their silence is deafening, either they have an absolute beast of a card up their sleeves with the 390 series or its going to be a bit underwhelming although better than the 980.

There are 4gb 270Xs this gen in the lower mid range, and there are 8gb 290Xs, so maybe.

I'm sure at launch they were saying that there would be 4gb 285s, but just never materialised.

I wonder how much more performance will the next gen high-end cards have, hoping for some decent improvement, but considering how much performance increase the past few gens had over each other it's kind of meh...
